Justin Bieber and his pal, Khalil, are taking fans out for the night in their new video for the track, “Playtime.”
Bieber and Khalil headed to Toronto to shoot the lo-fi video, which features the singers making their way around town, even dancing and getting a crowd hyped during an inpromptu performance.
“Playtime” is one of two Bieber (a.k.a. Bizzle) collaborations featured on Khalil’s A Long Story Short mixtape, which dropped over the summer. Bieber also appears on “Time for Bed.”
Bieber hasn’t dropped an album of his own since 2013’s Journals project. Bieber’s longtime mentor, Usher, opened up to Billboard about the 20-year-old, revealing what their current relationship is like.
“Our relationship is more man-to-man now,” he says in the Billboard cover story. “He’s making his own decisions and it’s important to show support. I can say I’m not happy with all the choices my friend has made, but I’m supportive of him. I try my hardest to give as much positive reinforcement as I can. I’ll punch him in the f—ing chest when I need to, and give him a hug and kiss when I need to. It’s more than just mentoring. I love the kid.”
