Justin Bieber was questioned by the L.A. County Sheriff’s department at his home on Tuesday morning in connection with allegations the pop singer egged his neighbor’s house.
According to the reports, roughly a dozen police vehicles descended on Bieber’s home around 8 a.m. to execute a search warrant. Officials were looking for evidence, including eggs and possible video documentation, that would tie Bieber to and alleged egg assault last week. “We collected evidence related to that crime. Mr. Bieber was present and cooperative. He was not arrested,” Det. Dave Thompson told reporters according to CBS Los Angeles.

What police did discover during the raid, aside from a polite Bieber, was an unspecified amount of cocaine allegedly belonging to one of the singer’s friends, who was arrested for felony drug possession. Authorities confirmed an arrest was made, adding that the drugs were left in plain sight. According to TMZ, which was first to report the raid, the suspect is known as Lil Za. Bieber was not connected to the drugs.

The 19-year-old superstar allegedly egged an adjacent house on Thursday evening while his neighbor and his daughter videotaped from a balcony. “You’re a big f—ing man, aren’t you?” a man can be heard shouting in the grainy cell phone video.
Over the weekend, a Sheriff’s department spokesperson named Bieber as a suspect in a misdemeanor vandalism and assault crime report. According to the Sheriff’s department, the alleged attack caused an estimated $20,000 in damage to the neighbor’s home.
Bieber lives in The Oaks, a gated neighborhood in the affluent suburb of Calabasas.
He’s had squabbles with his neighbors there before. In March 2013, a fellow resident accused Bieber of making threats after confronting him for allegedly driving recklessly through the streets. Charges were never filed due to lack of evidence. It’s unclear whether it is the same neighbor as the egging incident.
