He’s back!
On Mar. 24, Justin Bieber confirmed he will play the Fusion Festival this August in the UK. It marks the pop star’s return to the stage after a lengthy absence from performing. He wrapped up his Believe tour back in December 2013, with the singer taking his final curtain call in Perth, Australia and hasn’t performed much since.
In 2014, Bieber remained mostly off the stage, but 2015 finds that he has since been making an effort to return to performing. Earlier this month, he staged a comeback of sorts when he played the The Nice Guy club in L.A. on March 13.
With his Fusion Festival date since months off, Bieber took to Twitter to share his excitement for performing again.
“Missed the stage. Time to get back to work,” he tweeted on Tuesday (Mar. 24), the same day news broke of his headlining gig.

He’ll take the stage on Aug. 28. “I love the UK and I’m excited to be playing at Fusion this year,” Bieber said in a statement. “There are some great artists on the line-up so to be headlining the Friday night, is a real honor.”
