Justin Bieber loves sports, but he’s never played them professionally — just don’t tell Topps that.
A copywriter at the baseball card company seems to have gotten their Biebers confused, as the back of Cleveland Indians pitcher Shane Bieber bears the name of the pop star, not the player. On Sunday (Aug. 4), Shane posted a photo of his baseball card, which slipped an unexpected mention into his background info.

“In each of his first three big-league appearances, Justin was particularly comfortable on the road,” the card reads. Shane had a good sense of humor about the spelling error, as did Topps, who replied with the most perfect line from Justin.
Is it too late to say sorry?

Sunday night, Bieber offered a comment of his own: “I feel like we have a special connection,” he wrote on Twitter.

Clearly Topps counts a Belieber or two on staff — and maybe Cleveland’s team does, too.
