The Grammy Museum will have virtual programs in October focused on two recent albums: Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die and Pearl Jam’s Gigaton.
The Juice WRLD program, set for Oct. 8, will consist of a conversation with Nick Mira and Max Lord, who were among the album’s producers, as well as Manny Marroquin, Dorien Theus and Lil Bibby. Legends Never Die entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 with 497,000 equivalent units. It remained on top for a second week before being dislodged by Taylor Swift’s Folklore.
The Pearl Jam program, set for Oct. 22, will feature a conversation with the album’s producer Josh Evans and PJ bassist Jeff Ament. Gigaton debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
Another program of note, set for Oct. 29, focuses on the music documentary Linda & The Mockingbirds. It features a conversation with Linda Ronstadt; director James Keach; Eugene Rodriguez, founder of Los Cenzontles Cultural Arts Academy; and music journalist Randy Lewis of The Los Angeles Times. The film chronicles Ronstadt’s 2019 visit to Mexico with Jackson Browne and Los Cenzontles students.
COLLECTION:live is the Grammy Museum’s new official online streaming service available for $2.99/month or $29.99 a year. Grammy Museum members receive 50 percent off the annual subscription price. COLLECTION:live programs feature interviews and/or performances by the artists.
