The family made their way to NYC on Saturday (May 18) for Legend’s performance alongside DJ Khaled, who gathered a VIP entourage to sing and rap through various tracks off his new album, Father of Asahd.
Legend sang his heart out and played the piano for “Higher,” which made for a touching Nipsey Hussle tribute, but hours before he took the stage, his 3-year-old daughter stepped out onto it herself.
With her parents watching, Luna strolled to the spot in the center of the stage where the host delivers the monologue at the top of each SNL episode. With a mic in hand, she repeated the iconic announcement that rings out as the opening greeting for the show each week: “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”
