Jimmy Fallon and Saoirse Ronan participated in some good Irish festive fun when the actress dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The duo were decked in holiday scarves by a grand piano as they discussed Ronan’s fond memories of “pub lock-ins” in Ireland, where the whole town gathers at a local bar, “has a drink and a sing-song.” The Ladybird star then suggested that to recreate a lock-in, they should sing The Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York.” The two drink beers while the audience swayed to the tune.
See the clip below, and catch the full episode on The Tonight Show Tuesday (Dec. 4), with guest Russell Westbrook and music by Alessia Cara at 11:35 p.m. EST/PST on NBC.
