Well, that was fast.
Hours after Wednesday’s announcement that Jimmy Fallon and will.i.am had entered the Billboard Hot 100 with their made-to-go-viral single “Ew!” — No. 26! — the Tonight Show host responded.
“That means Ryan Seacrest has to play it on his radio show; he’s forced to do it,” said a giddy Fallon. He then announced that a YouTube supercut of fans singing “Ew!” was ready, and, like, omg is this thing flippin’ sweet! It’s like the whole internet was distilled into two minutes and 23 seconds:
The official “Ew!” music video has been viewed 11.2 million times in 10 days. It features will.i.am. as mir.i.am, a ditzy teenager with a yellow dress and orthodontic headgear. Unmissable.
