Jimmy Fallon has a guess as to what Donald Trump might have been saying while watching Tuesday’s Democratic debate.
The Tonight Show host impersonated the Republican presidential candidate in Wednesday’s episode, and he was joined by David Alan Grier, who portrayed a somnambulant Ben Carson.
At one point, Fallon’s Trump took aim at candidate Lincoln Chafee, who called himself a “block of granite” during the debate.
“He doesn’t look like a block of granite,” Fallon-as-Trump said. “He looks like a turtle that shops at Men’s Warehouse.”

“This debate is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen, and I’ve met Jeb Bush,” the late-night host continued as Trump.
Fallon’s Trump then took Grier’s Nyquil-swigging Carson to task for blurting out offensive terms.
“You keep making outrageous comments every day, saying outrageous things, yet you’re going up in the polls,” the fake Trump said. “Stop stealing my campaign strategy.”
