Pop star turned country hopeful Jessica Simpson will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, Sept. 6. The segment, which will also include performances from legend Loretta Lynn, Patty Loveless and newcomer Crystal Shawanda, will be televised on GAC at 8 p.m. CT. Simpson will perform her single, “Come On Over,” which recently peaked at No. 18 on Hot Country Songs, and “Remember That,” from her forthcoming album.
The Texas native will perform on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Sept. 9, “The CBS Early Show” Sept. 16, the syndicated “Rachael Ray” Sept. 17, ABC’s “The View” Sept. 11 and CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman” that night.
Her country debut, “Do You Know” (Columbia Nashville), is due Sept. 9.
