After Justin Bieber’s knockout performance of “What Do You Mean?” at the 2015 MTV EMAs, Jess Glynne took the stage for a medley of songs from her U.K. No. 1 album I Cry When I Laugh — “My Love,” “Hold My Hand,” and “Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself.”
Her powerful voice gliding easily between songs, Glynne delivered uplifting soul-dance vibes and even busted out a few old school Temptations-styled dance moves with her backing band.
While Glynne is a bona fide hitmaker in the U.K., she’s not a household name in the U.S. — yet. But if she keeps owning the stage like she did in Milan on Sunday (Oct. 25), that should change.
