By now, you’ve probably seen the trailer for Hustlers (if not, it’s right here). The first peek arrived at the stroke of midnight, but Jimmy Fallon got an early look, thanks to the movie’s star Jennifer Lopez.
During Tuesday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host got a little something extra when he Facetimed Lopez.
At the top of the interview, Lopez talked about her Vegas production and her starring role in Hustlers, a heist film about a group of strippers who strip cash from some Wall Street types. “It’s really a story about human nature, and greed and desperation and what people do. It’s a really interesting movie,” J.Lo said.
The audience got lucky too, with a teaser of the trailer just ahead of its official launch.
In Hustlers, J.Lo leads an ensemble cast alongside Cardi B, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles and Lizzo.
The film, inspired by a true story, is directed by Lorene Scafaria and produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay along with Lopez and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. It’s set to roll out in theaters from Sept. 13.
