Reports began to swirl on the Internet on Tuesday (Sept.10) that Jennifer Lopez is in talks to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2020.
The game next year takes place in Miami, Florida, a special city for the songstress, whose fiance Alex Rodriguez grew up there and the couple often vacations in the popular beach spot.
Though nothing is confirmed, Lopez sat down with Hoda Kotb for a SiriusXM interview, where she played a game in which she can answer the questions asked or shoot money out of a money machine if she declines to respond. When asked if she’ll be taking the Super Bowl stage, she giggled and simply replied, “I don’t know.”
Lopez would be joining the list of previous halftime performers, including Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Katy Perry and many more.
We’ll have to stay tuned to find out if we’ll be getting a Latin flair to the football championship game next year, but in the meantime, check out Lopez’s interview with Kotb below.
