After Shakira wooed with her flawless dance moves and fan favorites like “She Wolf,” she switched roles to let Lopez take over. The pop icon — who fine-tuned her onstage aura thanks to her Las Vegas residency — brought all that signature glitz and arsenal of classics to the field. Dressed in an all-black studded leather outfit, she kicked things off by opening with the top five Billboard Hot 100 smash “Jenny From the Block” before jumping into 2002’s “Ain’t It Funny” remix.
Soon after, the crowd got riled up as she delivered hit after hit, including “Get Right,” “Waiting for Tonight” (which was accompanied by green lasers similar to the 1999 music video), “Dinero” and “On the Floor.”
Lopez was soon joined onstage by J Balvin for a “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “Mi Gente” mash-up, as well as her daughter Emme leading a young choir with a slowed-down version of “Let’s Get Loud” and a cover of Bruce Springsteen‘s 1984 anthem “Born in the U.S.A.” Lopez ended the performance by reuniting with Shakira for a lively remix of “Waka Waka.”
