J.Lo and J Balvin are a force to be reckoned with.
First Shakira brought out Bad Bunny to add firepower to her already formidable slice of the Super Bowl halftime show; minutes later, co-headliner Jennifer Lopez welcomed the Colombian reggaetonero to up the ante even more.
At Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, J Balvin joined Lopez onstage, rapping a few bars of his 2019 Major Lazer collaboration “Que Calor.” Then came the main event: the indomitable beat from “Mi Gente” blared on the stadium speakers and Balvin launched into his massive 2018 hit, with J.Lo at his side. Lopez’s 2000 smash “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” closed off the J Balvin segment of her performance with the mood at a fever pitch.
Rapping, dancing and grinding beside their team of backing dancers, the duo poured it all into their relatively brief time together.
