Ellen DeGeneres unveiled a new segment on her talk show Monday called “The Voice on the Phone,” in which a celebrity calls her, and she needs to guess who it is.
Her first phone call was none other than Jennifer Lopez, who tried to disguise her voice by putting on an accent.
“Are you a comedian?” Degeneres asked, to which Lopez replied, “Yes.” The host then asked her to tell a joke, and Lopez immediately begins to laugh. “Give me a joke, give me a joke,” the songstress says to someone.
“I already know who it is by the laugh,” DeGeneres said, before correctly identifying Lopez. The two then chatted about Lopez’s role in the new movie Hustlers.
