Jennifer Lopez is a long way from a maid in Manhattan.
In her latest flick, The Boy Next Door, J.Lo stars as a high school teacher who begins an ill-advised affair with the (hunky, sexy) boy next door, played by Ryan Guzman. The crazy only escalates from there: Just in the trailer for the thriller, he transfers into her class, appears to be stalking her, and attempts to ingratiate himself into her family. All the while, the delightfully campy double entendres (“It got pretty wet here,” “I love your mother’s cookies”) are flying.
Take a moment and appreciate the fact that no matter how terrified Lopez’s character might be at any given moment, her hair game remains on point in every shot. Watch below:
