BMG Music Publishing stalwart Andrew Jenkins has been elevated from executive VP to president of the company’s international operations.
Based in London, Jenkins takes profit and loss responsibility for the publishing giant’s worldwide operations outside North America. Jenkins, who continues to oversee BMG Music Publishing International, will also be tasked with duties for the global marketing division.
Since joining BMG Music Publishing International in 1993 as VP, Jenkins has inked international sub-publishing agreements with Alanis Morissette, Pete Townshend/the Who, the Cure, Robert Plant and Leiber & Stoller, among others. Prior to that, he was GM of Polydor Records in the United Kingdom.
In his new role, Jenkins continues to report to Nicholas Firth, BMG Music Publishing Worldwide’s New York-based chairman/CEO.
