The therapeutic effects of Wilco’s music are well established. On The Late Show overnight, frontman Jeff Tweedy put his talents to the test by putting Stephen Colbert (and everyone watching at home) in a relaxed state with one of his works, a lullaby.
“Sometimes you’re scared, and then you’re not scared/Sometimes you worry, and then you don’t care/sometimes you cry and then you’re ok/tomorrow’s going to be a great day,” sang Tweedy, while Colbert got horizontal with a pair a fluffy bedmates. Check out the clip below.
Earlier, Wilco performed the rock-out number “Random Name Generator” from the group’s latest release Star Wars, which garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album.
