In early June, The Source reported that Independence Day was the “solid date” for the highly anticipated release. Other sources substantiated the claim earlier this week, saying that “Watch the Throne” would debut on Monday (July 4) but as a digital release.
Fans latched on to the claim after CyHi the Prynce revealed to Sway that the music is done on Wednesday’s (June 29) episode of MTV’s Rap Fix Live on “Ye [Kanye] is gonna add his last little pizzazz, and it’s going to be ready for you guys soon.” CyHi said.
