Jay-Z is giving a special gift to his fans who weren’t able to make it out to his eight shows at Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center. “Live in Brooklyn,” an eight-song collection of live cuts, is scheduled to hit iTunes on Thursday (Oct. 11).
As of Tuesday, the album’s track list had not yet been revealed, although it will include eight songs and eight videos. “Live in Brooklyn” will be Jay-Z’s first live album since “Jay-Z: Unplugged,” which was released in 2001.

Hova fanatics who didn’t make it out to Brooklyn were also invited to watch Saturday’s performance, which was the last of Jay’s eight crazy nights, via a live YouTube stream. During the performance, Jay-Z brought out his surprise guest/wife Beyonce, who performed “Diva,” “Crazy in Love” and the hook to “Young Forever.”
Next up for Jay-Z following “Live in Brooklyn’s” release: watching the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, of which Jay-Z is a minority owner, begin their first season in less than a month’s time. And there might be some new music on the way too: on Monday, Pharrell Williams posted a photo of himself, Jay and Frank Ocean in the studio on Twitter.
