At Prince‘s Rally 4 Peace concert in Baltimore on Sunday (May 10), Freddie Gray and Mike Brown’s family got an unexpected surprise when they met with Beyonce and Jay Z following the concert. (The concert was streamed on Tidal, which Beyonce and Jay Z are investors in; the Baltimore Sun reports Tidal will be matching the proceeds donated.)

Photos surfaced on Beyonce fan accounts showing the power couple meeting with the victims’ families. Alicia Keys and Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, were also in attendance.
Beyonce previously posted on her Instagram that “people were hurting” and encouraged fans to donate to the NAACP in wake of the ongoing situation in Baltimore.
