On Tuesday night (Sept. 16), rumors began to swirl that Jay Z and Beyonce, better known as music’s most groundbreaking power couple, are working on a new album together. The move would be momentous, although not all that shocking — after all, Jay and Bey have constantly popped up on each other’s records, combining their singing and rapping in the same way that they came together in holy matrimony. From “03 Bonnie and Clyde” to “Drunk In Love,” the husband and wife have multiple spectacular collaborations under their belt — and that includes an adorable daughter named Blue Ivy.
So, what’s your absolute favorite Jay Z and Beyonce collaboration? Vote now in the poll below to tell us which one brings the biggest smile to your face (note: only songs with credited verses were counted):
In 2002, Jay and Bey first linked up on “03 Bonnie and Clyde,” and then smashed pop radio with “Crazy In Love” a year later, on Beyonce’s first solo album. “Deja Vu” and “Upgrade U” both highlighted 2006’s B’Day, and then Beyonce returned the favor by popping up on Jay’s “Hollywood,” from Kingdom Come.
The past half-decade has included even bigger collaborations between the superstars, from “Lift Off” to “Drunk In Love” to “Part II (On the Run),” which gave their stadium tour a fitting title. And of course, there’s the collaboration that they love the most: Blue Ivy Carter, who was born on Jan. 7, 2012.
