Jawsh 685, Jason Derulo and BTS‘ “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, with a hefty assist from two new BTS remixes of the song that debuted at the beginning of the survey’s tracking week. The track, which enjoyed the greatest leap to the top of the Hot 100 (8-1) since The Weeknd‘s “Heartless” last December, represents the first No. 1 on the chart for Jawsh 685 and the second each for Derulo and BTS. Notably, it also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart during the tracking period.
“Savage Love” also made a jump on the Digital Song Sales and Streaming Songs charts, where it rose from 5-2 and 20-14, respectively. Though BTS was not included on the original Jawsh 685/Derulo version of the song, the majority of “Savage Love’s” sales and streams in the tracking week favored the BTS versions, so the K-pop group is now officially listed on the Hot 100 as a billed act on the song for the first time.
