
While Jason Mraz finishes up the follow-up to 2012’s “Love is a Four Letter Word,” the singer-songwriter has set a string of acoustic dates for next month, beginning Mar. 15 in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Raining Jane will be opening for Mraz on the nine-date, two-week run. Along with the acoustic shows, Mraz will perform at “All For The Hall,” a celebration of the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, in Los Angeles on Mar. 4.

A press release confirms that Mraz’s next studio effort, his fifth, is due out later this year. On last week’s Hot 100 chart, Imagine Dragons’ single “Radioactive” logged its 76th week on the tally, tying the record set by Mraz’s “I’m Yours” in 2008-09 for most weeks spent on the Hot 100 by one song.
