Revived U.K. indie label Infectious Records has agreed a licensing deal for debut signing the Temper Trap with Japan’s Hostess Entertainment.
The Nakameguro-based indie has confirmed that the Australian alt-rock act’s debut album will be released in Japan late summer, following the Temper Trap’s live debut in the country at the Summer Sonic festival.
“Both on record and live the Temper Trap have got what it takes to deliver in a very big way,” said Andrew Lazonby, Hostess Entertainment founder, in a statement. “There really hasn’t been a more complete new band in recent times – from writing, to performing to pure attitude, so we’re honoured to be working alongside Infectious to help introduce them here.”
