Japan’s millennium parade teased a portion of the music video accompanying “Fly with me,” the opener for the upcoming Netflix animated series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.
King Gnu leader and songwriter Daiki Tsuneta organized the millennium parade project by “a group of energetic digital creators.”
The teaser features a pixelated version of Eugene — the striking pink-haired boy gracing the single’s cover art — as the player character in a side-scrolling video game, pulling away just when the action gets going. Watch below:
The group kicked off its official Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channels to coincide with the teaser’s release. The millennium parade Instagram has the group’s past releases archived in a playfully cohesive way. Check it out below.
“Fly with me” drops digitally Wednesday (April 22). Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 begins streaming on Netflix on Thursday (April 23).
