Rapper KOHH shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the innovative music video accompanying “I Want a Billion,” his collaboration with ONE OK ROCK frontman Taka.
The video featuring the rapper and singer performing in a six-storied video game-like world was first released at a one-week-only event that took place in front of the iconic Shibuya 109 department store in Tokyo.
The visuals were shot with 360-degree cameras, and fans were able to immerse themselves in the virtual world and move vertically through the gridded area by using MX4D (R) motion seats, Virtual Reality (VR) headsets, and vests equipped with Sony’s haptic technology.
The behind-the-scenes footage includes commentary by the creators explaining the concept and technology that went into the production, a look at how the actual filming took place, and scenes of fans experiencing the video during the limited event. English subtitles are available.
“I Want a Billion” featuring Taka is on KOHH’s album Untitled, released in February.
