Country artist Jamie O’Neal has signed with the Nashville division of 1720 Entertainment, which is also the label home to Rissi Palmer.
O’Neal, who first debuted on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in 2000, last recorded for Capitol Records Nashville. She has scored three top 10 airplay singles, including two No. 1s, “There Is No Arizona” and “When I Think About Angels.”
She has released two albums, one on Mercury Nashville and one on Capitol, that have sold a combined 730,000 units in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
As a songwriter, O’Neal has had songs recorded by LeAnn Rimes, CeCe Winans and Martina McBride.
Her first single is due in early summer and an album will follow in the fall.
