The initial leg of Alan Jackson’s What I Do tour will open April 22 in Las Vegas, with Sara Evans and the Wrights in tow. At deadline, 15 dates are confirmed though a May 22 show in Mansfield, Mass., with more than 40 expected in total.
The run comes in support of Jackson’s 2004 Arista Nashville album “What I Do,” which opened at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Evans, meanwhile, will be out behind the 2003 set “Restless” (RCA Nashville), which debuted at No. 20 on The Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the country tally.
Husband and wife duo the Wrights will make their recorded debut with the May 3 ACR/RCA release of “Down This Road.” Their inclusion on the tour was something of an easy decision for Jackson, who is Adam Wright’s uncle.
