Jack White is indulging his audiophile/music historian side with an appearance at an upcoming panel at Yale University about the early 20th century jazz and blues label Paramount Records.
The panel, titled “Exploring the Rise and Fall of Paramount Records,” is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Yale’s Battell Chapel. White will speak alongside music critic Greil Marcus, musician Adia Victoria, Yale professor Daphne Brooks, and Dean and Scott Blackwood, whose Revenant Records co-released a recent Paramount box set along with White’s Third Man Records.
