The two talked about White’s recent on-stage injury, spraining his ankle, posting an image of the bruised appendage onto the big screen, to which White said, “That’s pretty grotesque, isn’t it?”
The blues-rocker said he was treated for it by one of the Oakland A’s team physical therapists treated him “just to be nice,” while star player Coco Crisp was being worked on right next to him.
“He said, ‘Yeah, if this was us, you’d be on the 21-day disabled list,” White recalled. He was advised he should cancel the tour, he said, but didn’t.

“It’s just too much trouble. I hate canceling anything, it’s just so disappointing for everyone,” he said.
White also talked of his two children, saying he favors mechanical games and toys around the house.
“You can’t video games around the house, but we’ll buy a pinball game for you,” he said.
