IODA has announced new deals with leading independent labels in France, Brazil, the Netherlands and the Caribbean.
Scorpio (France), Munich Records (Netherlands), Som Livre (Brazil) and the Caribbean Music Group (based in Trinidad) will all now be digital distributed to digital retailers, mobile outlets and subscription services around the world via IODA.
“These are extraordinarily high quality releases we are bringing into our global distribution network,” said IODA vice president Erik Gilbert, in a statement. “Som Livre seals our presence as the leading digital distributor of Brazilian music while Munich and Scorpio significantly enhance our catalog from Europe. We are particularly excited about the unique Reggae and Caribbean artists that Caribbean Music Group brings to our roster with its growing fanbase worldwide.”
