Live Nation’s Insomniac Events this week unveiled a two-minute theatrical trailer for “Under the Electric Sky,” its 3D full-length feature documentary set to hit US theaters this summer.
The film documents the Electric Daisy Carnival’s 2013 incarnation in Las Vegas, showcasing the stories of individual attendees, as well as behind-the-scenes festival footage and exclusive interviews with artists and Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella. Featured at Sundance Film Festival in January, the film was directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz and contains an original score courtesy of Kaskade.

“Under the Electric Sky” is the follow-up to 2011’s “Electric Daisy Carnival Experience,” which chronicled Electric Daisy Carnival’s final year in Los Angeles.
On Monday, Rotella announced that this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas lineup would be revealed on May 27.
“Under the Electric Sky” will be screened in select theaters starting May 29. Fans interested in attending an announced screening can purchase tickets at Under the Electric Sky.
