Nashville music industry veteran Shelia Shipley Biddy has joined the artist management firm, Hallmark Direction Company. She will be co-managing Columbia artist Trent Willmon with Hallmark president John Dorris. The move reunites Dorris and Shipley Biddy, who first worked together at Monument Records.
Prior to joining Hallmark, Shipley Biddy held positions at RCA and MCA Nashville before serving as senior VP/GM of Decca Records. She later opened her own management company where he clients included Danni Leigh and Jeff Carson. She ran that company for five years. Most recently, Shipley Biddy was VP of national promotion and artist development at startup label Vivaton Records.
She serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Music, Country Radio Broadcasters and the Country Music Retirement Center.
