The International Live Music Conference (ILMC), the annual confab dedicated to the business of international concert promoters, artist management, and talent agents, celebrates its 20th anniversary with an event March 7-9 at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
Among the hot topics scheduled to be debated are secondary ticketing, and the encroachment of other music-industry sectors, such as labels, into the live arena.
Although details of panels and keynote speakers have yet to be finalized, organisers say they have invited live-music decision-makers from more than 50 countries for the three-day event.
Organizers also boast the “psychedelic hippy” era is this year’s tongue-in-cheek theme of the conference, which in 2007 played on the theme of movie gangsters.
