Illness has affected the separate tour plans of two veteran artists. Rapper LL Cool J has canceled the remainder of his tour due to an abdominal affliction while severe bronchitis has forced singer/songwriter Barry Manilow to reschedule shows this weekend.
“I am extremely disappointed to have to cancel the rest of this fun and successful tour,” LL Cool J says in a statement. The rapper had a dozen dates left on his itinerary, including shows in Atlanta and Miami. Ticket holders will receive refunds at the point of purchase.
Manilow, meanwhile, has moved tonight’s (Nov. 4) show in Houston to Nov. 17, tomorrow’s Dallas concert to Nov. 20 and Sunday’s Denver date to Nov. 10. At deadline, concerts scheduled Nov. 12 in Phoenix and Nov. 13 in Anaheim are not expected to be affected.
