Enrique Iglesias will scale down and visit ballrooms and theaters on his For the Fans tour later this year. The Latin pop star will visit such venues as the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York and the Riviera in Chicago on the five-date trek.
A pre-sale is in the works for fans registered at Iglesias’ Web site and MySpace.com site. At the shows, Iglesias will be previewing material from his upcoming studio album, due spring 2007 via Interscope.
The as-yet-untitled effort will feature collaborations with producers like John Shanks, Johnta Austin, Mark and Paul and Rami Yacoub. It will be Iglesias’ first effort since his seventh release, 2003’s aptly-named “7.”
