Two days after the ten-year anniversary of Ashlee Simpson’s infamous Saturday Night Live lip-sync fiasco, the was a little hitch in Iggy Azalea’s performance as SNL‘s musical guest on Oct. 25. Iggy brought out Danish singer MØ for a performance of her new single “Beg For It,” and her guest’s vocals in the chorus seemed a little delayed.
MØ addressed the issue yesterday (Oct. 26), in a message posted to Twitter:

MØ blamed the problems on “technical issues,” which confused her and caused her vocal delivery to be off. “It sucks to be an anti-hero,” she continued, taking the issue to heart.
MØ — real name Karen Marie Ørsted — is currently promoting her 2014 debut album No Mythologies to Follow, which she spoke to Billboard about back in February.
