She famously sang on the latter’s “Better Not” in 2018, and today (Sept. 5), the whole crew comes together on a fresh pop tune for Wafia’s catalog called “Hurts.”

“It’s a homie track,” Whethan is quoted in a press release. “It was an opportunity to be able to come together with friends and make music. Both Wafia and Louis The Child are like family, so this one means a lot to me.”
“Hurts” puts Wafia’s sweetheart vocals over a thumping bass beat, shimmering R&B textures and a woobly hook. She’s about to hit the road on a few fall dates across the United States with support from Electric Guest.
