UPDATE: After this story was published, James Blake tweeted that he’s “never worked with Hudson Mohawke and don’t know what he’s talking about.”
The biggest tease award goes to Frank Ocean as we all sit in a mountain of tissues continuing to wait for the promised album Boys Don’t Cry. No one knows when the LP will actually drop and what it might sound like, but those clinging to rumors may find solace in Hudson Mohawke.

The decorated hip-hop and dance producer, famous as a frequent collaborator with Kanye West and as one-half of TNGHT, took to Twitter to talk about work he did with the R&B singer-songwriter, but those of you holding your breath should probably exhale.
We demo’d a few as well as Frank O n myself but I can’t get into anymore trouble for leaks:/ https://t.co/Bp0sabl9gx

U.K. singer, songwriter and producer James Blake was also mentioned in the tweet Mohawke replied to, but he tweeted Friday (Aug. 12) that he was “respectfully baffled” by the claim that they worked together.
As talented as I think he is, I’ve never worked with Hudson Mohawke and don’t know what he’s talking about. I’m respectfully baffled.
