Bruce Springsteen scores a No. 1 ranking on Hot Tours with $19.4 million in ticket sales reported from six cities on his Wrecking Ball World Tour with the E Street Band. Included are the first five markets on the European leg that kicked off in Sevilla, Spain on May 13 with 22,045 in attendance at Estadio Olímpico. This marked a return visit for Springsteen who also played the stadium three years ago during the Working on a Dream Tour. A concert in the Canary Islands followed on May 15 with a crowd of 23,908 at Estadio de Gran Canaria, a 31,000-seat outdoor soccer stadium in the city of Las Palmas. After two shows at Barcelona’s Estadio Olímpico on May 17 and 18, The Boss played two sold out concerts in Germany – a performance at Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt on May 25 and one show in Cologne at RheinEnergieStadion on the 27th. At both stadiums, attendance was just over 40,000.
