Though Hot 100 Fest features some of the biggest names in music, a number of that are sure to soar atop the charts in the near future are taking over the Heatseeker’s Stage throughout the festival. With acts like indie pop band Great Good Fine Ok and electronic up-and-comer Ben Alessi slatted to play, the emerging talent’s sets are something to get excited at not just Hot 100 Fest, but in the industry.
New music from Ty Dolla $ign
Ty Dolla $ign is gearing up to release his next record 2 Tyler Gang within the year, and with the rapper taking over the Beach Stage on Saturday, we can hope to hear some new tracks off the album during along with his classic club bangers.
Potential blackbear and Gucci Mane collaboration
blackbear released a single version of his hit “do re mi” featuring Gucci Mane and the two acts both happen to be playing the upcoming fest on Saturday. If we’re lucky, hopefully Gucci will hop on stage during blackbear’s show to spit his verse.
If that doesn’t happen, it’s possible that blackbear will also join Phoebe Ryan if she performs “Forgetting All About You,” a track the two artists released earlier this month. With so many collabs to his name, blackbear is definitely one to watch.
Potential Rick Ross and Capital Cities collaboration
Earlier this summer Capital Cities released the track “Girl Friday” featuring Rick Ross, since both artists are playing back to back on Saturday, one can only hope the major rapper makes a guest appearance during the electronic duo’s set. Either way, the two acts are sure to give their all.
“Wild Thoughts” live
DJ Khaled’s track “Wild Thoughts” featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller has been in the top ten of the Hot 100 for weeks. Because the song has yet to make its live debut, one can hope we get a live rendition this weekend!
Lil Yachty’s performance
Simply said: Lil Yachty‘s music is fun. With his rambunctious tracks and excitable delivery, Lil Boat knows how to get a crowd going. Having released his debut album Teenage Emotions this year and a number of hits to his name like “One Night” and “Minnesota,” his wild performance is one you won’t want to miss.
Demi Lovato’s guest performance
Demi Lovato dropped her fierce single “Sorry Not Sorry” earlier this summer and a new record from the pop star is definitely on the way. When she takes over with a 25-minute guest appearance on Saturday night, we can definitely get behind hearing the recent track live, as well as her past hits, and perhaps a preview of upcoming music.
On Friday (Aug. 18), the singer appeared on Good Morning America and brought out Jax Jones and Cheat Codes, so some surprises may be in the works for her set this weekend as well.
Zedd’s hits
“Stay” (with Alessia Cara) by Zedd was one of this year’s greatest hits and the major EDM star is bound to put it in his set list, which would make for an epic festival moment. In addition to this year’s chart topper, Zedd has a whole discography to his name full of top electronic tracks that will make his performance a non-stop danceable event.
A surprise during Camila Cabello’s performance
It’s been a fiery summer for Camila Cabello. The singer made her solo debut with the sizzling club track “No Crying in the Club” and has since released a collection of other sultry singles like “Havana,” which we can look forward to hearing as she takes them to the main stage.
This week the singer took to Twitter to share that you can expect a surprise from her on Sunday, so we’ll have to wait (eagerly) for her set to find out what she meant.

Major Lazer and the possibility of “Know No Better” live
Major Lazer always know how to through a wild show with their infectious tracks and collection of major chart-toppers like “Lean On” and Justin Bieber collaboration “Cold Water,” meaning, the group can be expected to close out the festival with a bang.
Since Major Lazer and Camila Cabello recently collaborated on the track “Know No Better,” we can keep our fingers crossed that the two will unite on stage to give a live rendition of the song. Might this be the surprise Cabello teased?
