Hillsong Worship announced it will release its upcoming album Awake on Oct. 11. The album artwork includes colorful strokes across a black canvas.
“We’re so excited to share these new songs and this new season with all of you,” the Australian worship collective wrote as the caption.
The first single from the album, “King of Kings,” was released back in July.
Hillsong Worship also shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the recording process, which includes a prayer in the beginning and an interview with member Brooke Ligertwood. “We write albums because God isn’t finished yet,” she says in the video, which is also quoted in the caption.
The pre-save link to “Awake” is available here.
Hillsong Worship’s most recent album, last year’s live project There Is More, spawned the hit song “Who You Say I Am,” which dethroned Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” from No. 1 on the Christian Airplay chart in January after she spent 17 weeks in the top slot.
