It’s a big week for Hilary Duff. Not only did she go on her first-ever Tinder date, but she’s also prepping for the release of her “Sparks” music video.
First up, the singer has previewed the “Sparks” visual on Instagram and it’s a neon-hued dance party. But fans will have to wait a bit longer to see more. A release date for the full visual hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Now back to that Tinder date. Duff opened up about it to Ryan Seacrest. From the way she described it, it doesn’t seem like there were any, well, sparks during the get-together.
“We went bowling so we didn’t have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually,” she said, via Us Weekly. “He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he’s an actor and he just wrote a play. He’s an interesting guy.”
She added, “To be honest, I don’t really want [to date] an actor. [But] I think he has a few jobs.”
From the sounds of it, it seems like the Tinder date happened the same night that Duff reunited with her Lizzie McGuire castmates, which makes Duff a pretty great social life multitasker.
Duff shared that she and the young man didn’t kiss at the end of the night. So get your minds out of the gutter! “No! Absolutely not,” she said. “I don’t know how I’m feeling, we’ll see how it goes.”
Though it doesn’t sound like she’s retiring her swiping finger anytime soon. “I’m just a Tinder animal,” she said. “I had my Tinder training wheels on for my first date. Now it’s smooth sailing.”
