Heidi Klum recently shared that she was feeling unwell, and to keep her family safe while she waits for her test results, she’s staying apart from her husband, Tokio Hotel’s Tom Kaulitz.
However, the love is still strong! The model took to Instagram on Monday (March 16) to share a video kissing the musician through a glass screen. “Like many of you, I also have been sick all week and, unfortunately, my husband who returned from his tour a couple of days ago is also feeling ill,” she wrote in the caption, before noting that they finally got a coronavirus test and are waiting for the results.
“We don’t want to spread germs and risk others getting sicker… even each other! As much as I want to embrace him and kiss him, it is more important to do the right thing and not spread further,” she continued. “These are strange times… but in these moments, you remember what’s really important- the people you love and keeping them safe. Social distancing is what we all need to do right now to be responsible citizens of the world.”
Last week, Klum uploaded a video noting that she was sent home sick from her job at America’s Got Talent, and said she was feeling sick with “a chill, feeling feverish, cough, runny nose. I’m just not feeling good, so that’s why I’ve stayed home, to not infect any other people.” At the time, Klum was unable to find access to a coronavirus test.
