Now that the “American Idol” results are in, it’s time for winner Lee DeWyze to make his mark as a recording artist much like he did on TV. That process is already underway, as the studio recording of DeWyze’s debut single, a cover of U2’s “Beautiful Day,” was released this morning (May 27). At press time, the track is at No. 4 on iTunes’ Top Songs.
