Litigation attorneys Peter Haviland and Rhonda Trotter have left their positions at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in Los Angeles.
The two litigators have rejoined Kaye Scholer’s Los Angeles office. Haviland, who represents clients in complex national and international litigation, joins the firm as a partner. Trotter, who represents clients in the entertainment, media, manufacturing and retail industries, joins the firm as counsel.
Haviland received a Bachelor of Arts in 1977 from Harvard College and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School in 1989. He was named by Black Enterprise magazine in 2003 as one of the nation’s top African-American lawyers.
Trotter received a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University in 1989 and Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993.
