Harry Styles performed an emotional rendition of “Falling” at the 2020 BRIT Awards on Tuesday (Feb. 18), and you would never think that he was mugged just a few days prior.
The singer was reportedly robbed in London on Friday night (Feb. 14), according to multiple outlets including People. Styles was approached by a man demanding cash, wielding a knife. According to Mirror Online, who first reported the news, Styles was unharmed, handed over the cash and “played it pretty cool.”
Harry was all smiles on the BRITs red carpet days later, wearing a a double-breasted purple pant suit with a lace-collared pale blue shirt and violet wool sweater underneath. He also sported a black ribbon on his lapel, often used to represent mourning. Fans online speculated that the ribbon was in tribute to his ex-girlfriend, Caroline Flack, who was tragically found dead by suicide on Saturday morning (Feb. 15).
