Harry Styles sent the Twittersphere into a frenzy on Oct. 22 when he tweeted, “Kiwi walked so Watermelon Sugar could run,” potentially teasing a new single that would follow the vibe of his debut album’s standout track, “Kiwi.”
He video chatted with Capital FM on Thursday (Oct. 31), where the hosts asked him about the cryptic message. But, in typical Harry fashion, the crooner kept the mystery by simply replying, “You’ll have to wait and find out!”
Styles did, however, talk about his already-released lead single for the second album, “Lights Up.” “For me, the song is about free some and self-reflection and self-discovery,” he explained. “A couple things that I’d kind of thought about and wrestled with over the last couple of years and I think this song is about me accepting those things.”
As for the mega-sexy video, featuring the former One Direction crooner oiled up in a sea of naked people, he admits that it was not oil on his body, but “aloe vera actually, it was a lot more healing than that.”
